The Cold Buster


  • Prep Time: 15 minutes
  • Cook Time: 5 minutes
  • Total Time: 20 minutes
  • Yield: 4-6 cups

Ingredients

  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 2 herbal tea bags
  • 1 inch peeled ginger
  • 1 whole peeled lemon
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Steep the tea bags in the boiled water for 15 minutes.
  2. Remove the tea bags and pour the water in to your high-speed blender.
  3. Add the remaining ingredients and mix on high speed for 2-3 minutes until smooth.
  4. This mixture is a concentrate.
  5. To serve, mix equal parts hot water with concentrate.
  6. Sweeten to taste with additional honey.
