During the morning workshop sessions, we will be covering a variety of topics to help you grow your food blog or business.
Brand building on a budget: In this session, we will cover 30+ low cost ways to promote and advertise your blog or business.
How to self-publish a cookbook with crowdfunding: Learn how to develop and launch a crowdfunding campaign to promote your own cookbook (or other project!).
Embracing life in front of the camera to build your social following: You are your best asset. Learn how to use your unique gifts to attract your ideal readers and customers.
Pinterest for Food Blogs and Businesses: Pinterest is an amazing platform for promoting your food business. Learn how to use Pinterest like the pros and drive traffic to your blog or business website.

YOUR HOST – JASMINE LUKUKU
Jasmine Lukuku is a professional actor, blogger and branding consultant. She has starred in over 30 TV commercials for major brands including Coca Cola, CVS, Pillsbury, Pringles, Hillshire Farms, Smuckers and many more. Her recent television credits include parts on Super Girl, iZombie and Haters Back Off, Frequency, Second Chance, Colony and Salvation.
When she’s not running around Vancouver to various auditions, she can be found working to help promote diversity in food blogging on her website and collaborating on branding and design projects with her partner through their creative agency, RXVP.
Her Black Food Bloggers Club facebook group has over 650 members and she provides blogging and business coaching to emerging bloggers and content creators.
But wait, there’s more! Jasmine is also a proud member of the Food Blogger Pro team where she heads up the affiliate program and designs graphics for the Food Blogger Pro blog and podcast. She lives in Vancouver, British Columbia with her artist partner and her grumpy chihuahua.

Food Photo Safari
Grab your camera or smartphone and explore the city searching for the ultimate food lover’s photo. Photos will be collected and judged by a panel of experts. Prizes will be awarded to the winning photographer.
Social Time with New Friends
We’ve built plenty of downtime so you can get to know your new food loving friends. Networking is one of the secrets to blogging success.
Drake on Cake with Joy The Baker
Full-ticket holders can join us for this special super special event. We will be learning how top blogger Joy the Baker creates and styles her famous Drake on Cake photos.
Welcome Dinner and Goodbye Social
Full-ticket holders are invited to join us on Thursday night for a special dinner at the Ace Hotel in the gorgeous Barnett Dining Room. There will be a closing social event for full-event ticket holders on Saturday night (cocktails anyone?)
