My Kitchen Essentials

Making Changes

It is spring and that means I’m feeling compelled to get my life in order. I’ve been listening to the audiobook version of The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up: The Japanese Art of Decluttering and Organizing.

My Kitchen Essentials

The book is really making me think about my physical and mental space. I want to be surrounded by stuff that makes me happy.

I live in the kitchen so it is important to me that it is filled with the proper tools. That is why I stopped buying cheap crap and started investing in products with a long projected lifespan. Every time I look at my Garfield-orange KitchenAid Mixer, I smile! Maybe I need to get out more.

I’m planning to tidy up around the blog. Over the next few months you will notice some gradual changes. I’m trying to streamline the design and make my site more user friendly.

The first thing I did was re-vamp my kitchen resource page. This is a list of kitchen tools that I recommend. You can find the page here…

That is just the beginning of my Spring-Summer 2015 make-over!

  1. Simplifying and decluttering can be so fulfilling. I’m working on this not only in my kitchen, but in all parts of my life. I’m writing about my efforts here each week:

That is great Kariane, I will definitely check it out!
