I swore I wouldn’t add another pumpkin recipe the glut. I’m going back on my word because I accidentally ordered 6 HUGE cans of pumpkin puree from my grocery delivery service.
I’m drowning in pumpkin and I have to use it up! I recently found out that I have to move and I’ll be damned if I’m packing giant cans of pumpkin. So, that means pumpkin smoothies for everyone!
Are you expecting me to proclaim that this is “the most delicious and amazing pumpkin smoothie you have every tasted in your whole life”? Nope. Not going to go that far. It’s pumpkin-y and filling and a good way to use up excess pumpkin. That’s it.
Also, as a kind reader pointed out, peanut butter is not paleo. I know this, but I can’t edit the recipe to suggest almond butter due to a technical glitch (too long to explain). Anyway, if you are strict paleo just use almond butter, but you probably already know that.
Can I sell a recipe or what? You know what is more exciting than the pumpkin smoothie? That cute, red, ceramic tray I bought at CB2 on sale is really exciting.
Without further ado, here is a perfectly decent pumpkin smoothie recipe…
